It was assumed that since she was so beautiful, she had to be a bad actress. Actually, I thought that at first, after seeing Transformers 1 and 2 but then the movie Jennifer’s Body came out with an issue of Cosmopolitan. She seems like a down to earth, regular insecure girl, who loves pretty boys and compliments.

The “gilded butterflies” are the celebrities and how they act so foolish the entire world just laughs at them. She didn’t want to be laughed at for falling into the Rabbit Hole, per se.
