The hot summer months aren’t just killer for your complexion, but also for your hair. I know my hair makes me feel gross midway through the day during the hot summer days, so I’m always looking for cute yet easy hairstyles to keep my hair cute but weather appropriate. Just like our recommended spring hairstyles, these summer hairstyles are quick and perfect.
Long, thick hair probably has the hardest time during summer. It collects heat on your neck, causes sweat, and just plain gets in the way. Some options: a pixie cut, a colorful scarf, or a snazzy hat to protect most of your hair from sunlight.
To make it look more attractive, make a three inch folding of the scarf and place it in your head with a two inch gap behind the fore line hair and make sure it’s tied up properly with even lengths on both the sides. Keep the scarf in appropriate position to avoid slipping it off from the head. Make sure you tie the scarf first horizontally and then pull each side of the scarf vertically to keep the knot tight and lay down both the ends each
side evenly to give you a bold look. Keep rest of your hair loosely at the back to give more comfort and aeration to your face and keeps you away from sweating.
In case you don’t prefer to wear a scarf then you can try a saucy ponytail look by empowering the base roots of your hair with a lift. First, use a comb to separate the first two inches of your hair; gather the rest in a high ponytail. Hold the separated hair straight up in the air, and use hairspray on the roots so that it is “stiff.” Once it dries, gather it into the ponytail; you can use another hair tie to make it easier.
For summer, these easy hairstyles make life a lot easier. What do you normally do?
