Gaming is not just for men

8 September 2009 by Katherine | | No Comment

Gaming is no longer just for men. There was a time when men overran the gaming community and if when played video games they were seen as slightly odd. Well, not anymore. It has become socially acceptable for women to play video games too. And why not? With so many great options out there a woman would be crazy not to play. I don’t know what your favorite games are, but I love playing Guitar Hero.

One thing that I love more than Guitar Hero are new gaming consoles. There have been many rumors surrounding the Sony Playstation and whether or not they are going to be the first to release a next generation gaming console (or if the Wii and Xbox will beat them to the punch).  According to sonyps4.com, it is possible that Playsation will be the first to release the next generation gaming console. But it might be a long time coming because Sony officially released the Slim Sony PS3 on September 1st. The Slim console is about one hundred dollars less than the regular PS3, ringing in at $299. Not only is it slimmer and more streamlined, it also uses less energy than the original Playstation 3. It has the same

“great features of the original Playstation 3 console wrapped in a much more sleek design and for 100 dollars less, looks like Christmas shopping just got that much easier.”

Regarding the release of the Slim Playstation 3,

“Sony claimed it was all a bunch of internet rumors, and more or less ignored the fact that it was well known that the Playstation 3 was ready to reduce in size and cost,”

said a source at SonyPS4. If the Slim PS3 was all just internet rumors, then maybe the PS4 has a good chance of releasing when no one expects it, and hopefully sooner than everyone predicts (because this girl just can’t wait).
