Step one: Prime your eye lid by patting the Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion on your lid from the lash line to the brow bone and underneath your eye. By doing this it helps the eye shadow to stick to your eye lid and keep it from creasing. And your makeup remains vibrant all day.

Step Two: Using the Smashbox Eye Shadow Trio, apply the lightest shade on the brow bone with a tapered brush. In the corners of your eye apply the same color. This will brighten up your eyes and make any redness in your eyes less noticeable. Wipe the brush off before applying the darkest shade of eyeshadow on your eye lid so that it just touches the lightest shade you applied to the brow bone. When apply the color use a patting motion and not a blending motion. If you blend it in now, a lot of the color will flake off and fall beneath your eyes. In the outer crease apply the middle shade eye shadow and blend in.

Step Three: Using a stiff eyeliner brush, trace around your entire eye with
Cream Eye Liner concentrating the color on the upper lid and along the lash line. If you want your eyes to appear wider and brighter, line the inner rim of your lower lash line with the same eyeliner. When you are applying eyeliner, remember that it doesn’t have to be perfect. Smoky eyes are rock and roll cool and in rock and roll there is nothing cooler than smudged eyeliner. It makes your eyes appear sexier if the eyeliner isn’t perfect.

Step Four: Finish by curling your eye lashes and applying two coats of  Bionic Mascara. Apply to both the top and bottom lashes. To avoid getting mascara on your eye lid, apply mascara to your bottom lashes first. And that is it. That is all it takes to create the perfect, sexy, smoky eye.
