We always tease celebrities when they have cellulite, but I’m sure all of us have it, at least a little bit. Cellulite is the build up of fat cells beneath the skin, giving it that “cottage cheese” look.

There are so many marketing schemes claiming they “get rid of cellulite fast,” but there aren’t any easy ways to do it. To get rid of cellulite, you need to add a routine that will keep skin supple and tight, or else cellulite will always be there.

Just so you understand, cellulite has nothing to do with how much you weigh; it addresses fat and lean muscles, not weight. It deals with the connective tissues in your muscles and fat deposits building up between them.

Most people will never be able to get rid of cellulite; even those $1000 treatments only reduce the appearance, not the actual issue. So what can you do?

Start with an open stance and attempt to touch the ground without bending your knees. This will stretch and move around the connective tissues in your thighs, hopefully moving the fatty deposits.

Do any and all stretches you know to stretch out your thighs. Then run! Running naturally tones muscle instead of bulking it, especially in your thigh muscles.

But, still, many people will not be able to get rid of cellulite. An easy way to disguise it is through tanning solutions. Tan skin hides cellulite; that’s why so many bikini-clad celebrities are tan! Check out our “How to Get a Tan” guide for more info.

You can also try products that are on the market. Many reviewers say they work; exercising works for me, so I can’t give you the best info on that, but I will look into it!
