Smashbox was founded in 1996 by Dean and Davis Factor, who are descendants of Max Factor, and present owners of the Smashbox Studios in Los Angeles, California. They have great products, many of which are meant for models: they are light reflecting, photo-perfect finishes and foundations to reduce shine and create an even, glowing tone. I especially love the Light Luminizing Lotion which is listed below – it is great under or over foundation for a matte look that reflects light. The Bionic Mascara plumps up eyelashes without giving that stiff feel; it is the most moist mascara I’ve used, and it doesn’t rub off beneath your eyes. All of their products have intense pigments of color to give you more effect for less product.
