Alright, I don’t know about you, but I am constantly on the go. And I am a college student. Spending so much time on campus, and driving to work, driving home, doing this, and doing that I sometimes forget to eat. Or if I can’t think of something good to eat, I will just go to a vending machine and grab a bag of chips (even though I know I will be hungry again in about an hour. So, instead of snacking all day on chips, I will bring lunch. But, after eating the same thing every day, it starts to get boring! So, I have started to experiment with my lunches and here is one sandwich that you will love!
The Peanut Butter and Apple Sandwich is a spin on the classic peanut and butter sandwich, and a really good one. You know how good it tastes to dip a sliced apple into peanut butter? Well imagine all that goodness wrapped up in a sandwich!
Ingredients:
- 2 slices whole wheat bread
- 1-2 tablespoon peanut butter (to taste)
- 1 small apple
Directions
- Peel the apple and then shred the apple using a cheese grater
- Spread a thin layer of peanut butter onto one side of each slice of bread.
- Place shredded apple onto the peanut butter, and place the other peanut buttered side of bread on top. And you are good to go.
